Nathaniel is as sweet as they come and just a dream to photograph. Like any other child, he doesn't like to stay still for long but he loved being in front of the camera and never threw a tantrum..a MIRACLE for a toddler I think!

So, when I walked into the room and saw Parvin for the first time, I was blown away as to how beautiful Parvin looked. I was happy to see her, she happy to see me...so much had happened that we were both happy to just be there...at her wedding!

All of the weddings I capture are special to me but Parvin and James' was especially sweet for me, as well as the rest of their guests. We all knew the long road Parvin and James had travelled together and to see them finally joining their lives and becoming one was incredible.

Parvin and James...I am sooo incredibly happy for you both and am honored to have been one of the few to witness such a joyous occasion. I wish you only the best life has to offer!

I loved all the details that Sharon planned...she is so detailed and organized! The flowers were beautiful, the ceremony fun and lighthearted, and the weather..oh how I loved the weather that day! It was a bit chilly and windy but it felt like fall which was perfect since Sharon and Rudy has a fall'ish theme with candied apples and all :-)

Oh, and I can't thank Vanessa from V3 Events enough for being so awesome! She is so sweet and was on top of everything to make sure that the day went perfectly!

The NKOTB concert was beyond incredible!!! My friend Kate had gone to the show last week and emailed to tell me that it was going to knock my socks off! Up until that point, I had wondered just how the show was going to be...I worried that it just wouldn't be the "same" with the guys nearly 20 years older, me nearly 20 years older, and everyone else in the Staples Center nearly 20 years older. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! It was even better!!! The guys were hot, still dancing as much as before, and sounding even better! The fans...well, they are still just as crazy, excited, and in love with the boys from beantown!

The day started when I met my cousin for lunch. I was so glad she wanted to go because we both went to the NKOTB concert 18 years ago together. It felt great knowing we were going to be reliving history together..I wish I had pictures of us when we went the first time! That would have been a funny picture with our 3-inch high bangs...you remember the hair back in junior high, don't you???

We then picked up my BFF LoAnn who is also a HUGE fan of NKOTB...I'm so glad she wanted to go too! I decided to download their greatest hits album earlier that morning because I thought it would be nice to hear all the songs before the concert. Once I put in the CD and we heard the first few seconds of "Step by Step", all the gushy, lovey memories came rushing back!

We bought our tickets months ago through www.iloveallaccess.com. We got this 4 Star VIP package that guarantees you seats within the first 20 rows but you don't find out what seats you get until you get to the box office on the day of the event. We nearly dropped to our knees when we found out we got 10th row in the center aisle!!! It's the closest I've ever been to the stage and now that I've experienced it, I'll NEVER go back to "regular" seats!

If you would have told me last year that I would be going to a New Kids on the Block concert and that I would be screaming at the top of my lungs for these guys, I would not have believed you! This is what I just love about life...it's so unpredictable and brings little happy surprises when you least expect it! The show was 10 million times better than I ever thought it could be and I am so FREAKING glad that I went!

After the show, we went to Noodle World to get some yummy food and swoon over the guys. We all agreed that it was the best concert we had ever been to and that we would look back on it as one of the best times in our lives. I'm sure most of you are thinking "she is certifiably crazy!". But let me try to explain...

Have you ever wished that you could go back in time to your childhood and just relive one day just so you could remember what it was like to be a kid? When everything was so simple...when you weren't worried about the economy, how much work you STILL have to get done, if you will EVER be ready to have kids, are you REALLY ready to buy a home, etc etc? Well, that night I can promise you that I didn't think about ANY of the above..not even once! The moment the guys appeared on stage, it was as if I was 12 years old again. That night I was lucky enough to go back to a time when life was simple...and boy did I have the best freaking time of my life!!!

LOL..there were lots of guys that brought their girlfriends/wives to the concert..how sweet!

This part of the show was cool..not for me but for everyone in the back of the arena! The guys surprised everyone by appearing on this little stage in the back for a portion of the show. I'm sure everyone in the back appreciated this..I know I would have!

Lance Bass was there! There was all this commotion around him before the show so I thought I'd snap a pic of him when nobody was paying attention to him :-)

So, for all you New Kids fans that are reading this and didn't plan on going to a show..DO IT!!! I promise you, you will NOT regret it! You will have more fun than you ever thought possible and your love for the NEW KIDS will increase ten fold!

The funny thing was, we headed up there to find some very specific locations (i.e. the abandoned motel) and had no luck finding it! I was super bummed about that but I must say that everything happens for a reason. Once I got home and downloaded my cards, I was thrilled with the locations that we did get to shoot at.

Kristeen and Josh were so awesome during the shoot..they would both change their poses every few clicks of the camera without me having to ask! I was so proud..proud like a mom seeing her child take their first steps :-) Okay..I don't actually have a child so I don't know how that actually feels like but I can imagine it being just like that :-)

Kristeen and Josh, you already know how I feel about you two but I just wanted to thank you AGAIN for this weekend..you guys Rock..to the extreme!!!

Kristeen and Josh met me at an intersection and the only thing there was this old, beaten up, mobile home looking thing that looked liked it was about to cave in on itself. However, we all risked our lives happily for some awesome images :-)

What I love so much about these two is that they would do anything for a great shot..even if that means laying on a gross couch on the side of the road!

I had a specific image in mind with them holding the balloons in an open field with the balloons floating high above them. However, the wind was being a pain and didn't comply with my wishes. Oh well, we worked around it and I'm still loving the image..

Kym and Andrew met and fell in love in elementary school...okay..they weren't actually in love yet but the seed of love had been planted and it didn't actually grow until their college years :-) How wonderful to have known the person you were going to marry for most of your life?! I loved seeing them together..so cute!

I'm so excited for their wedding next June..Kym is a coordinator with Charming Events so I can just imagine how gorgeous and detail filled her wedding will be!

Gorgeous light! This shot almost didn't happen until I turned around and saw the beautiful light and knew I had to snap the last pic of the day here :-)

I knew this was going to be a very special event..after all, Angel was coordinating the entire thing so I knew it would be nothing less than fabulous! All the details from the dress, to the shoes, birdcage veil, etc etc...it was ALL gorgeous!

The icing on the cake though was the luscious details at the reception...I was in Heaven! You will see what I mean when you see the images...just beautiful!

I can't thank Angel, Grace, and Raj enough for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful occasion! Grace and Raj...I wish you nothing less than the very best that life has to offer! Congrat's!
