This was a very special engagement session for a number of reasons..most importantly..it was my first time meeting Joe since he was in Afghanistan serving our country for 7 months. He just got back a couple of months ago so you can imagine how happy April and Joe are to be reunited..and trust me..it was VERY obvious to me! Literally, when they would look into each others eye's, it was as if I didn't even exist! Like I literally had to be like "ok guys..I'm here..hello??". I loved it though and it just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see them so madly in love with each other :-) April even said that when Joe is around it's as if she doesn't see anything else..total tunnel vision..all on Joe :-) I love that! I especially loved how Joe wore one of his uniforms and April dressed up to look like a young couple in and old romantic movie...the outfits & location tied in so well together! I cannot wait for their wedding this October! Now for some pictures! Here are some of my favorites from the day..enjoy!

So, I don't do "dipping" shots very often because to be quite honest, most people look awkward doing this :-) Not April & Joe though..when I asked them if they could do this they said "oh yeah, we do it all the time at home"..what?? How cute is that?!!
