This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

For all of you loyal blog readers out there, this little lady requires no introduction.  However, if you've just recently discovered my blog, let me give you a little background info on this lovely little one. She is my cousin's daughter whom I've been photographing ever since she was a baby....in fact, she was my first "human" subject..ever!  She was my muse way back when and she still is.  With each passing year, I find new inspiration in her..she brings a smile to everyone she meets and to be quite honest, she is also the most adorable little girl I know :-)  Olivia will be turning 4 next month so it was only appropriate to start the celebration off with a photoshoot!

It was actually quite an elaborate setup with the shoot spanning 3 days...there's only so much camera time a little rascal can take! I can't tell you how many times I heard Olivia say "I done mommy? I done?" Even when Olivia is complaining, she is still too cute for words ;-)

Olivia, thanks you SOOOOOOO very much for being such a good little girl!!!  I am so proud of you...try not to grow up too fast okay?  I need to enjoy your adorable-ness for as long as possible :-)

I have two favorites from the "veil" series..this is one of them!  BTW, does this series remind you of anything? ;-)

My second favorite..how BOMB is her dress??!!  Her mom actually got this dress right after Doug and I shot our anniversary pictures last year.  Once I saw it, I knew we needed to do a shoot with it!

You all remember little Julian right?  Well, last Saturday was his 1st birthday and I had the honor of capturing for the little guy.  His mom and dad planned an awesome party with lots of friends, lots of food, LOTS of heavenly yummy birthday cake (it tasted THAT good), and lots of entertainment!  Jules from Jules Music came out to entertain the little rascals and did an awesome job!  Being a non-mommy, I had no idea how much kids loved music?!  It was great to see all of the little ones having fun and with smiles on all their little faces.  If your little one is having a birthday soon, I would highly suggest Jules..kids love him!!

Last week, mom and dad threw a birthday party for me..they put up decorations and everything!

How cool is this?  Mommy and daddy let all my friends write little notes to me on the garage!

I didn't quite know what to do with my jingly thing at first...

but then I got the hang out of it and started getting my groove one!

Check out this ginormous birthday cake!  I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it all by myself..

So mom and dad got me a baby one :-)

I was a little scared to eat my cake without utensils..since I'm a gentleman and all.  But Dad and Grammy told me it was okay.

Then I got the hang of it..

and boy was that cake delicious!!

I'm a happy camper now!!

*sigh* That was some goooooddd cake!  I headed inside to see what everyone was up to...

My bro harper was just chillin' like a villain.  He's not REALLY a villain..I just said that cuz it rhymes with chillin'...get it?

Check out the garage...my friends got crazy!

Last week, I headed down to San Diego for Jane and David's engagement shoot.  They had their first date in San Diego so it was only suiting that they have their engagement session there!  Jane & David were telling me that literally a week after their first date, Jane had to go to China for a few months and they still continued to talk the whole time she was there.  On top of that, David visited her in China and that's where they officially became "boyfriend and girlfriend"...if that's not true devotion, I don't know what is!

I had a great time in SD with these two..David actually sang a vietnamese song for Jane and I...okay..maybe not a song...one line from a song..but still...it was the first time EVER that a groom has sung in front of me!  I love my job..there are always little surprises around every corner ;-)
