Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

Tawny & Ryan were referred to me by one of my clients, the Alvarado family!  I love when that happens :-)  Tawny and Ryan are the sweetest couple :-) We had such a great time during their session..they were totally natural and had fun "pretending to like each other"..lol..just kidding!!  They will be getting married at one of my favorite venues, Seven Degrees this September and I CANNOT wait!

You know..I've always said that one of my favorite parts of a wedding are the portraits of the bride & groom.  When I got married, these were the most important pictures to me..aside from the ceremony of course!  So it's only natural that I feel they are just as important for my clients to have.  Sometimes when I'm preparing a blog post, I have to limit myself to only posting 4 or 5 portraits from the bridal session because there are just way too many that I love!  Then as I was getting ready to work on the blog images for Caroline & Miguel's wedding, I thought "I wish I could blog more portraits from their session..and then I realized..why COULDN'T I?  All this time I've had these self imposed blog rules..so lame when I think about it now!  Since I'm not a big fan of blog posts with a 101 images, I'll keep this blog post "portrait" only.

So here you go..my absolute favorites from Caroline & Miguel's portraits..I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

What a day..Jeniffer & Jeremy had their beautiful wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. It was a clear sunny day and just beautiful in every way.  The ocean view was perfection and Jen & Jeremy were of course stunning!  I must say I do have a soft spot for them since they met online just like Doug and I did :-)  I love meeting couples who have also met online..it even more special getting to be a part of their wedding day!  For all those are single out there..give online dating a try if you haven't already :-)

Jeniffer & Jeremy's wedding was filled with so much emotion..there were tears all around from all the heart felt speeches.  That's what I love to see at a wedding..lots of happy tears!

Jeniffer & Jeremy..thanks for being sweet and so wonderful to me!  I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you!
