Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

Gracie, Darren, and I had such a great time during their engagement session!  They were both nervous but I really couldn't understand why..they both looked amazing in front of the camera!  We had fun talking about their upcoming wedding, our adorable fur babies and our shared appreciation of good food :-)  It's always a good conversation when food is involved :-)

I cannot wait for their wedding which is coming up in a little over a month!  Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!

What better way to end the post than with a beautiful portrait?

It's always fun capturing kids because you really don't know what you're going to get..it's different with each session that I do and I think that's what I like most about it!  I will say though..sometimes little ones can be difficult to shoot..however..this was not the case in this situation!

Maddy and Mason's mom Michelle was a bit nervous about how her little ones were going to do during the shoot but in the end, her kiddos proved that they can handle a photoshoot just fine!  Maddy loved my camera and wanted to see how she looked after each picture I took and at the end of the shoot she asked her mom "Mommy you have fun"? to which her mom replied "Yes I did..did you have fun?" to which she replied "Yes" :-)

We started with the hardest part first..the family portrait!  The fact that I got all eyes in the same direction is a victory!

I shot Yuri & Hiro's wedding nearly three years ago and was so thrilled to get an email from Yuri to let me know she was having a baby!  I am SO happy for these two and feel so honored to have captured yet another stage of their life together..looking forward to hopefully capturing many more!

Now for some highlights from their shoot!

LOL..while I was taking the next two shots, we kept hearing rattling noises..it would start on one side of the field and then we'd hear it in a completely different part of the field a minute later..we never found out where the rattling was coming from..thank goodness!  I hope rattle snakes have a great fear of photographers :-)

Love this one!  It had been overcast for pretty much the whole day until it was time for their shoot..someone was looking out for them :-)
