Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

I'd love to hear from all my blog visitors so please don't be shy, my blog doesn't bite ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and come again soon!

To see more of my work, you can check out my main website here.

Jennifer and Jason : Engaged! 11-24-2008

Last week, I took a trip up to Pasadena for a lovely engagement shoot with a lovely couple :-)  Jennifer and Jason are as sweet as can be and I'm so excited to be shooting their wedding next March!  I first met Jason at his brother Randy's wedding that I shot last year.  When Jason contacted me recently to shoot his own wedding to Jennifer, I was beyond thrilled.  It's always nice when I can work with my past couple's family and friends.  I feel like there is a certain level of trust that's already established which is always nice :-)

Jennifer and Jason, I can't wait for your wedding!  It will be here before you know it so enjoy these next few months before the big day!

Now for some fav's!

Love the tree's shadow here!

It's official...Doug and I are HOME OWNERS!!! 11-20-2008

WOW...I still don't think it's sunk in yet!  For the past month, Doug and I have been nervous, excited, scared, stressed, plus a million different other emotions.  After wanting a home for SOOOOO long, the day has finally come.  Doug and I are home owners!

We found a home that we loved and put an offer in not knowing what to expect.  To our surprise, they accepted our offer!  From what I hear, most people don't get the house they first make an offer on so that was always in the back of our minds.  So, in the beginning, Doug and I didn't tell anyone but our parents!  It was the worst not being able to tell our friends and family that we "might" have a house!  Once I finally did, it was quite hilarious because when I told some friends that I have "something" to tell them, they all gasped with their eyeballs wide open and started getting really excited...too excited!  I knew right away what they were thinking and said "don't get too excited you guys..it's not what you think".  Sorry for bursting your bubble guys..."I'm NOT PREGNANT!"

HEHEHEHE..I didn't realize how many of my friends want me to have a kid already?! hehehe..in due time people. Doug and I need to enjoy our home first before the kids come and wreck it! :-)

The next month is going to be extra crazy because there is so much to be done!  We'll be moving next week right after Thanksgiving so the holiday season will be absolutely insane! We'll be busy getting the house ready and what I'm most excited about is getting my new OFFICE ready!  I can't tell you how long I've been wanting my own office...can't wait!

Doug and I are so happy to finally have a home and can't wait to begin this new chapter in our life.  I want to take this opportunity to personally thank Doug's parents for helping us get our first home.  We would not have been able to get the home that we love so much without their love and support :-)

I would also like to thank our friends and family for all their well wishes!  We're so excited for all of you to come visit and be a part of the new memories will be creating in our new home!

And last but certainly not least, I want to thank my wonderful husband for loving me and making me the happiest woman in the whole world!  Without you, none of this would have been possible!  I love you!

Now for some pictures!  Special thanks to my adorable little sister for taking these!

Our New Home!

Doug was going to let me open the door first but I wasn't having any of that!  I wanted to open the door together for the first time :-)

LOL..I was really scared if Doug was going to be able to carry me and Mochi through the threshold :-)  He made it out alive..barely!

First picture together INSIDE our new home :-)

Our little family :-)

LOL..high five baby!

Very special thank you to my cousin Farah for giving us our VERY FIRST housewarming gift!  We love it and will cherish it forever!

Charlene and Kevin : Married! 11-13-2008

Charlene and Kevin got married at the beautiful Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades this past weekend.  It was a perfect setting for a beautiful fall wedding!  I loved all the details that Charlene and Kevin planned..so chic and elegant!  The day was just gorgeous and I captured some of my most favorite images ever!  What made the day even better was that I had my very good friend Drew shooting with me..thanks for coming out Drew!  You rock!

Charlene and Kevin, thanks for being SOOO sweet to me!  You are just the sweetest couple and I'm so happy for you!  Have fun in Tahiti!  **so jealous right now!!!**

There are two things in life that I absolutely love...shoes and letterpress!  Check out this scrumptious invitation from Bella Figura...

Of course I loved the Jimmy Choo's :-)

Charlene's La Sposa gown was so beautiful and romantic..I loved it!

One of my all time favs!  As Charlene was leaving the hotel room, I saw the light and how it framed her and snapped this shot quickly!

How adorable is she???

Love this!

So chic...

Shot this image through the break in the frosted glass...

Shirvan Designs did an excellent job on the flowers!

This guy was the life of the party!  He performed "Bye Bye Bye" from Nsync (my SECOND most favorite boy band.  NKOTB obviously is my first!)
