Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dog (yes,I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

I'd love to hear from all my blog visitors so please don't be shy, my blog doesn't bite ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and come again soon!

Charlene and Kevin : Married! 11-13-2008

Charlene and Kevin got married at the beautiful Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades this past weekend.  It was a perfect setting for a beautiful fall wedding!  I loved all the details that Charlene and Kevin planned..so chic and elegant!  The day was just gorgeous and I captured some of my most favorite images ever!  What made the day even better was that I had my very good friend Drew shooting with me..thanks for coming out Drew!  You rock!

Charlene and Kevin, thanks for being SOOO sweet to me!  You are just the sweetest couple and I'm so happy for you!  Have fun in Tahiti!  **so jealous right now!!!**

There are two things in life that I absolutely love...shoes and letterpress!  Check out this scrumptious invitation from Bella Figura...

Of course I loved the Jimmy Choo's :-)

Charlene's La Sposa gown was so beautiful and romantic..I loved it!

One of my all time favs!  As Charlene was leaving the hotel room, I saw the light and how it framed her and snapped this shot quickly!

How adorable is she???

Love this!

So chic...

Shot this image through the break in the frosted glass...

hehehe..good times :-)

Shirvan Designs did an excellent job on the flowers!

This guy was the life of the party!  He performed "Bye Bye Bye" from Nsync (my SECOND most favorite boy band.  NKOTB obviously is my first!)

Kari & Chris : Engaged! 11-05-2008

Wow...Kari and Chris were so much fun to shoot with!  It was the first time I had met Chris so I didn't know just how much fun he was going to be!  Both of them were so relaxed in front of the camera..they of course said they were nervous but you would have never known based on the pictures!  Kari has such a great smile and laugh..as does Chris!  LOL..Kari said she was only marrying Chris for his good looks..she said she was just kidding but I think there might be a glimmer of truth to that ;-)

I cannot wait for their wedding next May..it's going to be blast!  Thanks you guys for making the session so fun!  Now for some favorites!

Love how the leaves frame them..

Kari and Chris both love sports so I thought it would be fun to include a "sporty" element :-)

I loved this door!

Nathaniel : Rascal 11-03-2008

I think Nathaniel is the first GENIUS I've ever met..SERIOUSLY!  When I arrived at the house, Nathaniel and his mom greeted me at the door.  It was the first time I had met him so I asked him "How old are you?"  His reply?  "Two Years and Three Quarters".  I did a double take...say what?!  I couldn't believe it.  That wasn't the end of it though.  His mom asked him to show me to his play room and he led me to the back of the house.  He said "You can come in Trista but just remember to take off your shoes."  He said it..EXACTLY like that!  Perfect pronunciation and everything.  I'm still in awe :-)

Nathaniel is as sweet as they come and just a dream to photograph.  Like any other child, he doesn't like to stay still for long but he loved being in front of the camera and never threw a tantrum..a MIRACLE for a toddler I think!

Nathaniel, I know you can probably already read my blog perfectly so I just wanted to say I had soooo much fun playing with you!  I hope to come and play again soon...and don't worry..I'll remember to take off my shoes! ;-)

Nathaniel is such a gentleman.  I told him I liked being sung to so he whipped out his guitar and started singing!

Nathaniel acting coy :-)

I love this one!

He LOVED being on the swing!  A genius still needs to take time out to be an "ordinary" kid, right?

Janet & Andy : Married! 10-28-2008

Janet and Andy were actually married a few months ago on the oh-so-popular date of 08.08.08.  They had a civil ceremony with just a couple of their friends in attendance but knew they wanted to throw a party to include the rest of their family and friends. They had their reception at the beautiful Island Hotel in Newport Beach and it was a very fun day..especially for me!  You see, Janet and Andy allotted lots of time for their bridal portraits which is ALWAYS nice since we can take our time, walk around, scope out some awesome picture-taking spots and most importantly, have fun!

Janet and Andy, thanks so much for having me at your wedding celebration!  Now for some favorites!!!

Love this!

Love this too!

Janet & Andy had a cute little dance routine that impressed everyone!

Parvin & James : Married...finally!!! 10-23-2008

I had to fight back tears when I saw Parvin on her wedding day.  It had been over year from the day she had called me to tell me that life had taken an unexpected turn and she and James would have to postpone their wedding.  I felt terribly and just hoped that I'd get a call from her sooner rather than later saying that the wedding was back on.  Sure enough, almost exactly a year later, I get an email from Parvin asking me if I was still available to photograph their wedding!  I was so happy and thrilled and so excited to see Parvin and James again.

So, when I walked into the room and saw Parvin for the first time, I was blown away as to how beautiful Parvin looked.  I was happy to see her, she happy to see me...so much had happened that we were both happy to just be there...at her wedding!

All of the weddings I capture are special to me but Parvin and James' was especially sweet for me, as well as the rest of their guests. We all knew the long road Parvin and James had travelled together and to see them finally joining their lives and becoming one was incredible.

Parvin and James...I am sooo incredibly happy for you both and am honored to have been one of the few to witness such a joyous occasion.  I wish you only the best life has to offer!

The perfect spot for a ceremony...Parvin and James got married at their friends private residence in Dana Point right on the beach!

I just love this shot for some reason!

I swear...I don't think I've seen a bride this incredibly happy! Parvin was just beaming!

First look as husband and wife...I love it!

I love this shot of James' parents in the background looking so happy for their son and new daughter in law!

I love this shot...could they be any happier?!
